I am often asked where I find my inspiration for sermons - this is one place. I believe God speaks to me daily and this is a place where you can look over my shoulder as I write some notes to myself as we journey towards Sunday . . .

Day 54 a note from God: Numbers 18-20
Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!Numbers 20:4-5 NIV
Really? Again. The Red Sea. The Manna. The Quail. The Golden Calf deal. The ground swallowing the rebels. Really?
After all that God has done . . . After all that they had witnessed . . . the complaints begin again.
We would never do anything like that . . .
This time the anger burns within Moses as well. The water comes, but at a price for everyone.
How much have you forgotten? What blessings in your life do you need to recount today?
