I am often asked where I find my inspiration for sermons - this is one place. I believe God speaks to me daily and this is a place where you can look over my shoulder as I write some notes to myself as we journey towards Sunday . . .

Day 62 a note from God: Deuteronomy 1-2
See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them . . . The LORD your God has increased your numbers so that today you are as numerous as the stars in the sky.
Deut 1:8,10 NIV
40+ years spent in wilderness and then . . .
Then what?
Then God remained faithful to the promise given long before.
You see God is always faithful. God always keeps His promises.
We often spend time in the wilderness of life because of our own rebellion. Our wilderness is our own doing - not punishment - not anger - but our own stubborn choice.
Is it time to come out of the wilderness? Is it time to end your rebellion?
God's promises await those that will humble themselves and obey.
