Day 266 a note from God: Luke 1 and John 1:1-14

Now, after having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, I have also decided to write a carefully ordered account for you, most honorable Theophilus. I want you to have confidence in the soundness of the instruction you have received.

Luke 1:3-4 CEB

The value of money is greatly determined by the confidence we have in it, but value also comes from the money being authenticate and not counterfeit.

The same could be said of the words that we hear or read. Their value is based on our own level of confidence as it relates to the source and second the authenticity of the source that is writing.

Luke understood that and wanted his reader(s) to understand that as well.

That is the value of God's word and the testimonies of the New Testament.

We can approach them with a "Let’s see if the words are true" attitude.

We begin our excursion into the story of Christ with Luke's words.

Put yourself into the scripture:

I want (Insert your name) to have confidence in the soundness of the instruction you have received.

The story of Christ is about relationship with God. It is personal. It is for everyone, but more importantly it is for you.

Read it. Test it. Have confidence it.
